Grant were spotted shopping at the newest boutique in Gettysburg, along with other high ranking officials and their wives.  Hmm, what do you think they bought at Foxxy Moxxy's yesterday?  Cheri Cline was the lucky fox in the den that day and exchanged chit chat with the pair.

Welcome to our store on the square.  This week and next marks the Gettysburg Festival and all the activities that accompany such a venue.  Tonight the customers came inside between the military band performances.  Above Cheri Cline displays some of the newest jewelry.

Some other very sweet children's items include these adorable hats.  Soft and stylish by Barb Zimmerman.

Stoneware pottery from Lori Fritsch is also now on the shelves!!

What's In A Name?

Foxxy Moxxy is not your usual acme generic boutique.... Oh no, no, no. 

The Foxxy part goes without saying. There are fabulous, hard working foxxyz in the store, assisting the customers and showing off their artisan wares.

The Moxxy part means SpUnK.  It spells courage in the face of challenge. The women in this Gettysburg boutique are full of it....spunk that is!! Take a look at some of the merchandise found in this spunky Foxxy Den. 

Also, check out the "Fox Spot" to the left where you will see a picture of one of our favorite Foxxy guys.  Many thanks to Foxxy Albert for lending his craftman skills and "can do" attitude before that ninth hour!  

Opening Day Friday, June 11, 2010

.........lots of curious customers strolled inside.  Among them were the trendy tourists, lovely locals and fabulous friends!!  Pictures of this crazy first day on their way next..........

INVENTORY ARRIVES!

Egads! A necklace, a print, a Gettysburg music box..........and then several necklaces, dozens of prints, and oh, the music boxes!!

Charms, quilted pillows, goat soap, wine bottles, and a sprinkle of shabby chicness begins to unfold right before our very eyes.
 
We can't wait until June 11th, when those doors fly open.  Come one, come all.  You are sure to feel special when you meet us and pick out a special gift at the shop.

Come one, come all!!  Foxxy Moxxy, A Gettysburg Boutique, is opening its doors on June 11th....YES, June 11th.  Be there or be square darlings!! See you there!  Stay tuned for itinerary.

Sunshine Day On The Square

Always time to lunch and chat in Gettysburg, on the square.  How wonderful everyday will be as familiar customers, tourists and friends meet up in the square, right next to Foxxy Moxxy's!!

Fox Trotting!

Look who trotted into our Foxxyz Den...two famous guys ready, and willing to help out with a little of the heavy stuff.  Oh, and what moving and shaking!  Jerry Douglas and Paul Beard just happen to be in town and performing at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.  Paul and Jerry are also now brand new friends and fans of the Foxxy Moxxy Artists.  Hooray!! Famous meets soon to be famous on the square... check out some of the famous and some of those soon to be famous!!

MOVING DAY!!

One, two, three, bend at the knees.....and watch that doorway!  Ribbon and tulle, boxes and bows, cupboards and armoires.  Today marks boutique move in day. The foxxyz and their helpers were busy!!! Go girls!

Clever Fox Chic

What do these threads, mantels and lights all have in common?  They will have the chance to become CHIC fixtures and will be displayed fondly at the new Foxxy Moxxy, A Gettysburg Boutique on the square in Gettysburg, in June.  These sleeping treasures will be gussied up, painted, and magically turned into wonderful pieces of store accessories and decor. 

Cooking Up Ideas

Food for thought meetings are going on last week and this, as there is still lots to do and gather...like display shelving and cases to show off that artisan inventory!  Of course, there is literal food served up too, like homemade chile...a foxes favorite!

UBER RIBBON

This is absolutely the most perfect ribbon to grace those soon to be special Foxxy Moxxy bags and boxes!  There is something "oh so pretty and frilly" about ribbons and bows, don't you think?  

Hear ye, hear ye, now crossing ribbon off that list of must have's and to do's before the grand opening gala. Only 99 more things remain as excitement builds and everyone kicks it up a notch!!
